Apac leaders advised sensitize community members about Laws and applicability

The Judicial Service Commission as mandated by the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda to prepare and implement programmes for education and sensitization of the public organized a workshop on Law and Administration of Justice in Uganda at the District Hall.

The Deputy Registrar at JSC, Faridah Semyano told leaders that there are a lot that the Commission can do to help communities in Judicial seek and proceedings but they are unaware. There is need to sensitize the leaders who can cascade the information to their electorates so that we create harmony among us.

RDC Abudul bids farewell to Apac leaders

The outgoing resident District Commissioner Abudul George hands over Office on 2nd September, 2024.

In his report the Commissioner hinted on a number of successes he achieved and challenges which he encouraged his predecessor to take it up.

The RDC said Apac has been a District of gaining much experience in handling tasks. He has learned a lot during his time at the District and this has been his turning point.

Speaking during the Council sitting as the Distinguish guest, Abudul George- the departing Resident District Commissioner expressed his gratitude to the Councilors and Technical staff for the spiritual, emotional and intellectual support given to him at the District.

"I am leaving Apac as different person compared to when I came here because I have grown into a much better person," Abudul said.

Apac hands over NOSP motorcycles to the extension staff to boost extension services

Apac District Local Government has given out two motorcycles received from the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries this afternoon to boost small holder farmers in the increase of production and productivity of the Oil Seeds using modern production technology.

The two motorcycles were given to Agricultural staff from Apac & Chegere Sub Counties to enhance production from the two Sub Counties. The staff are Elinga Maxwell- Apac Sub County and Akech Caroline- Chegere Sub County.

Apac District Hands Over a 5 Stance Drainable pit Latrine to the residents of Awila

On Friday July 19, 2024, the District team, led by the Assistant Resident District Commissioner-Apac Janol Okot, handed over the new public toilet structure at Atek Central, Awila. The five stance drainable pit latrine constructed by the District Water Sector using the District Water Supply & Sanitation Conditional Grant (DWSSCG) was done by Hanzon Engineering Services & Supplies Ltd at a cost of 28.5m UGX.

Apac DLG hands over Motorcycles to extension staff

The Deputy Chief Administrative Officer/Apac Mr. Muboki Paul advises the Extension staff to guard the Motorcycles they received and cautioned them against reckless usage saying it was procured to improve service delivery not only at the Production Department but the entire District.

This communication was made during the time of handing over the four motorcycles to the extension staff at the Department of Production & Marketing today Friday 31/5/2024 at the District Headquarters.

Apac District Political & Technical Officials in Masindi for a council study tour

Apac District Political team led by the Leader of Government Business and Technical led by the Chief Administrative Officer on Tuesday 23rd April, 2024 traveled to Masindi District Local Government for the Council study tour.

The leaders’ visit to Masindi was to benchmark on the series of programmes or sectors to improve service delivery i.e Education, Finance, Leadership & Governance and Micro-scale irrigation system being supported by Ugift.
