Successful Completion of Two-Day Training of Trainers for Farmer Groups Profiling under UCSATP in Apac District

Apac District, Uganda – The Apac District Local Government (DLG), in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF), has successfully concluded a two-day Training of Trainers (ToT) workshop for key stakeholders involved in farmer groups profiling under the Uganda Climate Smart Agricultural Transformation Project (UCSATP).

Mr. Olaboro Takes Office as New Chief Administrative Officer for Apac District

Apac District, Uganda— The Apac District Local Government is pleased to announce the official assumption of office by Mr. Olaboro Emmy Ejuku as the new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). The handover ceremony, held at the district headquarters on Monday, July 14, 2025, was attended by members of the District Executive Committee, the Resident District Commissioner, Heads of Department, and Representatives from Bulambuli District.

Site Meeting Held to Review Progress of Modern Medicine Store Construction at Apac General Hospital

Apac District, Uganda – July 10th, 2025 – The Ministry of Health, in partnership with the Apac District Local Government, conducted a site meeting at Apac General Hospital to assess the progress of the ongoing construction of a modern medicine store. The facility, once completed, will significantly improve the hospital’s capacity to safely store and manage medical supplies, ultimately enhancing health service delivery for the people of Apac and the surrounding areas.

Strengthening Local Economic Development: Ministry Coaches, Mentors, and Supports LEDIC Members in Apac

Apac District, Uganda – In a deliberate effort to strengthen local economic governance and drive inclusive growth, the Ministry of Local Government on July 9th, 2025, successfully conducted a targeted coaching, mentoring, and backstopping program for members of the Apac District Local Economic Development and Investment Committee (LEDIC). APAC District—1-7-2025— The District Executive Committee, led by the District Chairperson Ikomba Asanti Odongo, held a three-day comprehensive monitoring exercise of capital development projects across key service delivery departments—Health, Education, Production, and Water—for the Financial Year 2024/2025.

This initiative is aimed at ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective implementation of government-funded projects to improve service delivery and promote sustainable development across the district.

CAO Engages Management and Staff of Apac General Hospital on Service Delivery Improvement

Apac District, Uganda—23rd June 2025

In a significant move aimed at enhancing health service delivery in the district, the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Apac, Mr. Muboki Paul, convened a high-level meeting with the management and staff of Apac General Hospital on 19th June 2025. The engagement was held at the hospital boardroom and brought together key hospital administrators, health workers, and district health officials.
