Apac District Local Government Commended for Outstanding Performance Before Parliamentary Public Accounts Committee
Apac, Uganda – The Apac District Local Government delegation has been commended for its exemplary performance during her appearance before the Parliamentary Public Accounts Committee (PAC) on Wednesday August 6, 2025 at Gulu District Headquarters, demonstrating a high level of transparency, accountability, and professionalism in handling public funds and administrative matters.
The delegation, led by the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, Mr. Muboki Paul, presented a well-prepared and thorough report, effectively responding to all queries raised by the Committee. Their clear articulation of District operations, financial records, and development activities reflects a renewed commitment to good governance, prudent financial management, and public service delivery.
This outstanding performance is a major step towards restoring public confidence in the administration of Apac District and a sign of the growing maturity and responsibility of local governance structures. Their conduct and presentation have brought renewed hope, pride, and a sense of order—signifying a turning point in the district’s pursuit of integrity and service excellence.
The group's Committee Chairperson, Hon. Ongiertho Emmanuel Jor, commended DCAO for bringing sanity to the District and wishes for him to get a promotion as Accounting Officer soon. The District Council, local stakeholders, and residents of Apac join together in appreciating the delegation’s efforts and the positive image it has projected at the national level.
