Mr. Olaboro Takes Office as New Chief Administrative Officer for Apac District

Apac District, Uganda— The Apac District Local Government is pleased to announce the official assumption of office by Mr. Olaboro Emmy Ejuku as the new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). The handover ceremony, held at the district headquarters on Monday, July 14, 2025, was attended by members of the District Executive Committee, the Resident District Commissioner, Heads of Department, and Representatives from Bulambuli District.

Mr. Olaboro succeeds Mr. Muboki Paul, DCAO, who was acting after the sickness of CAO Mr. Mbaagwa Muwonge Abdulnoor, bringing with him a wealth of experience in public administration, strategic planning, and local government service delivery. His appointment marks a significant milestone in strengthening public service management and advancing the District's development priorities.

In his inaugural remarks, Mr. Olaboro expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the people of Apac and reaffirmed his commitment to transparency, accountability, and inclusive service delivery.

“I am honored to take up this role and look forward to working with all stakeholders to improve the lives of the people of Apac. My focus will be on improving service delivery, enhancing revenue mobilization, and fostering community engagement in governance,” he stated.

The District Vice Chairperson, Hon. Odongo Tonny Jasper, welcomed Mr. Olaboro and pledged the full support of the political leadership to ensure a harmonious working relationship for the betterment of the District.

“We are confident that Mr. Olaboro’s leadership will usher in a new era of efficient administration and development,” the Chairperson remarked.

The incoming CAO’s assumption of office comes at a critical time when the district is implementing several development programs under the Parish Development Model, agricultural transformation, micro-scale irrigation, and health sector strengthening.

The Apac District Local Government extends its appreciation to the outgoing CAO and looks forward to continued progress under Mr. Olaboro’s leadership.
