EXTERNAL ADVERT

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill vacant posts that exist in the service of Apac District Local Government.

Applications should be submitted in triplicate on PSC Form 3 (Revised 2008) to the SECRETARY, DISTRICT SERVICE COMMISSION, P.O BOX1, APAC, not later than Friday, 25th January, 2019 from the date of this advertisement.

Application forms are obtained/ downloadable from our website: www.apac.go.ug, or  the Public Service Commission Office 2nd Floor, Farmers House, Parliament Avenue, Kampala and / or any other District Service Commission Offices and must be filled in the applicants’ hand writing with three (3) current passport size photographs attached.

Job Purpose

To perform basic accounting processes involving preparing books of accounts and keeping custody of accounting transaction records.

i. Custody for accounting records and documents provided;

Job Purpose

To manage and provide technical guidance/ leadership in the academic and administrative programmes to the institution.

Duties and Responsibilities

i. To prepare the schemes of work/lesson plans and teach students according to the set timetable;

iii. To plan for the physical development of the school and professional development of the staff;

Job Purpose

To participate in ensuring sustainable exploitation of the forestry products in the District.

i. Establishment and management of tree nursery beds at Sub-county levels supervised;

ii. Council leaders and farmers sensitized and advised on forestry and agro forestry methodologies;

iii. Forest Guards supervised and their performance appraised;
